SPOTLIGHT COMPANY - GR. 3-7

How can your child learn to be in theater if they aren't taught the basics of acting, singing, dancing, and how to audition? Why does it seem like some kids always get lead roles and your child never has a chance? How did they learn the skills to get that far? And how will my child ever know if they are capable if they aren't given a chance or shown how? How will my child ever learn to audition if they aren't taught how?

That's what makes CLS different. Our theater program is rooted in from the educational theater perspective in a culture of a supportive community. Traditional theater assigns roles, makes cuts with no feedback as to why, and you are locked in to a role based solely on one audition. At Creative Learning Studios, our young clients are never in a hierarchy of leads versus ensembles. This culture fosters a noncompetitive and team-oriented spirit, a unique and equitable model for theater so that EVERY child gets a chance to learn and grow based on their individual goals and talents. No one is ever cut. No one is compared to another creative. Everyone is encouraged to be their best authentic actor and everyone is given a chance to shine.

OVATIONS COMPANY - AGE 12-18
We are currently taking sign ups for School of Rock!! This hilarious show about all things music, education, substitute teachers, and super uptight parents make this a wonderful show about family and harmony. Younger kids will be taught to be in the band, while the older kids will take on the adult roles of the show with more of the grownup themes.
